Phase II

The adventure is on, I am back to blogging. So sorry life has been so busy. I am now attending the School of Ministry Development also known as phase II. My class mates and I are almost half way through this school by the end of next week.
It has been a whirlwind around here. God has already done so amazing things. All the Youth With A Mission (YWAM) bases in Colorado came together in Colorado Springs for an Acts 1 Conference. The name says a ton, it has to do with the way the disciples waited in the upper room for the Holy Spirit to come upon them. The whole conference was about waiting for the leading of the Holy Spirit. It was such a time of growth for me.
When at the Acts 1 Conference all the students got to go to The Garden of the Gods. Which is a park in Colorado Springs that has huge rock formations like that of the Grand Canyon. I was so excited to get the opportunity to take some amazing pictures of God's creation. It was a fun day climbing rock, taking pictures and also having a time of fellowship together. However the next day at the conference through another one of the speakers God told me to give my camera way... So when I finally excepted the fact that my camera was not mine and went up in front of everyone... My base director told me to pray more about who my camera was meant for. So to this day I still am holding on to God's camera waiting for Him to tell me who! God is so good.
Over the past few weeks God has been speaking to me about my future and I know now that one day I am going to go back to Romania to help with the House of Joy; which is a house for pregnant women can live and raise their children until they are two years old. I know in my heart of hearts that is were God wants me. He has also showed me that I can mix or us both my passion for saving babies lives and for my love for photograph also. My God is so good.
Pray points:
*health
*making strong friendships
*that God would provide for all those in need of finances so that they can go on outreach
*this next week!

Here are some of my pictures: of the base and of the Garden of the Gods.

March 31, 2012

Wow hi, everyone. I leave for London in close to twenty four hours from now, give or take! I cannot believe all the amazing things that God has done so far while I have been in Denver for the last three months! However I know that God is going to do even more amazing things while I am on outreach.

So for all of you who have been following over these past three months I thank you for finding an interest in it. However it will be changing because of going on outreach. My hope is to blog once every two weeks at lest while I am in London and then once in Romania it may be subject to change yet again! Thank you for all of you love and support; I know that you will be supporting me through this phase of my DTS also!

I love and miss all of you. Yet I know that I am were I am suppose to be.... I feel at peace about this and everything it entails. But I also know that I am going to have a hard time getting on the airplane tomorrow. I will be saying goodbye to the United States and that is nerve raking for me! I still know that God is not going to let the nerves get to me!

I hope that you all stay healthy  and will during this time while I am away!

March 22, 2012

Sorry I have not blog lately, the Internet has not been working very well again at the YWAM base. It has also been a very crazy week. I have been really sick the last two, I lost my voice on Tuesday during the first session of lecture and then it got worst form there. Yesterday I was so sick that I did not do directors docket and I did not do work duties! I sleep for two hours. During this time I really had to trust that God know that He was doing. This morning I wake up still not feeling well at all and then by the end of the first session I could talk, I was feeling great. It is amazing at how great God is.... He answered the prays that people were sending up to Him to heal my body and He did. So now I am babysitting Levi for the Harrison's so that they can go to a wedding. I enjoy having some quiet time by myself... Levi is taking a nap! I can not wait tell tomorrow, worship time.... I am hoping that I can sing tomorrow without loosing my voice again! It was killer for me to be in worship yesterday and not be able to sing. It is amazing how much I missed my voice in two and a half days!

So I leave for London in ten days!!!! That is so close. I wait to ask you a favour to continue to be praying for me and my team mates, Chole, Sarah, Catherin, Katherine, Mike, Katie, Hallie, and our leader Carmen. Please pray for health and safety when in London and Romania. For me personally could you pray for a positive attitude, and courage to not be scared to do new things. I am really nerves to go on outreach... However I know that God has a plan for me, this team, and for London and Romania. So thank you for all of your prays.I hope that your Friday goes well and that you have a nice weekend!

~Love you all

March 17, 2012

Hi, everyone sorry it has been a while since I have written. I hope that am post finds you all well and healthy. Wow so what should I start with... I guess I will start at the beginning of this weeks. So Monday March 12, we had community outreach and I was in the group that went to the nursing home. The whole time we were there I kept on getting the thought that this place is so empty. No with residents but I mean with visitors. These people barley ever get visitors and it made me so sad to see that. I got the prologue to see these residents how God see them. Precious and valued. I want to challenge each and everyone of you how follow me on this blog to go out and visit will elderly people whether that is your next door neighbor or someone in the nursing home. Please consider doing this, God values these people but no one else seems to see them. Thank you.

Then Wednesday March 14, we had Kingdom night which is where we go out into downtown Denver and talk with people. This past Wednesday it was really warm so there were so many people out it was really fun to see so many people out at eight all the way to ten pm. So from the moment we got off the bus on sixteenth street people started looking at us. By the time we started singing we had people in their apartments video taping us and listening, what was along with the people on the streets. It was crazy... However it was so much fun. We meet lots of people but for me I meet Kenny and Robert they are both homeless and love music so our playing draw them in. It was so cool talking to them. This was yet another sign from God that He wants us to love and value His children whether dirty and homeless or rich and noise turned up... We must learn to love everyone! I really did not pray or talk very long with anyone that night but I had my friend and roommate Heidi tell me that I was doing something for the kingdom of God. I was sing loud so that people would stop giving others a chance to talk to them and share Jesus and all that He did for them. That really encourage me.

It is amazing in fifteen days for now I will be traveling with my teammates to London and I will be there for three and a half weeks, then we will fly to Budapest, Hungry and drive into Romania... Wow so overwhelming yet so exciting. We will be in Romania for another three and half weeks. During our time on outreach we will be doing skits, puppets and testimonies. Along with leading others for Christ. Please pray for safety, health, open doors and opportunities to talk with people. Thank you for your love and support.

March 8, 2012

Sorry, everyone it has been a busy couple of weeks. So I am going to catch you all up on what has been happening here in Arvada.
                                              March 1- March 5, 2012.
The Compassion DTS went to Kansas City, Missouri to go to the International House of Prayer. It was an eleven and a half hour drive there in three fifteen passenger vans. I knitted most of the car ride there. We stayed at a YWAM base in Heartland Missouri. It was a small base but it was so much fun; it was like a sleep over with twenty-one girls in the same room and only one toilet and two sinks. Oh but wait it get even more fun. The septic take at the base was not working right so we got to pee and poop in plastic bag that were placed in the toilets and then we had to tie them off and throw them into a bigger garbage. We could not let water go down any of the drains was so ever. Most of us would brush our teeth outside and spit out side! Okay so that was the fun stuff with our living arrangements. However IHOP (the prayer house) was amazing. They have 24/7 worship and we went to two teachings that were both amazing. On Saturday we all got prophesied over and I was told that I was a leader, counselor to young girls and women, I was thirsty for God and His word, I was also told by one lady that she saw me in Nicaragua with tons of children around me... Now by then my mind was yelling "WHAT!!!!" I have never felt like God was putting on my heart to go to South America or Nicaragua. So I prayed and asked God that if this was His will to give me a heart for the people of Nicaragua. So for right now that is on the back shelf, waiting to see what God tells me! But worship was amazing, we got to be lead by Misty Edwards one of my new favorite worship leaders! Then on Sunday we went to this church another one way for Denver and we all got to prophesied over the people of the church. My friend and I talked to this elderly woman named Amy and in the end with the help of another friend we healed her finger that got jammed by her dog. It was amazing. Then we piled back into the vans for another long eleven half  hour can ride! We got back to the base at the 1:30 am and then we had to unload the car... I got to bed at two in the morning! five and half hours of sleep is not enough! So that was this past weekend.

                                                 March 5- March 8, 2012
So this week has been prep week for outreach, where we learn all of our skits and plays. I am in three plays/ skits and I am also in Puppets! So much fun. I am really enjoying puppets! Yesterday was Kingdom night and there were seven of us who stayed at the church in down town Denver worshiping and interceding of our teams out on the streets. We ended up praying for a man who was going to kill himself and we prayed until we felt like the man was going to be okay that God was with him. The weird thing was, what when I was worshiping before I even know about the man who was going to kill himself I saw a vision which I thought was a daydream at the time of a man in a park with a gun pointed at his head! Crazy... Last night through God and intercession we saved a mans life!

This week is yet another crazy week, we are going to IHOP (the International House of Prayer) on Thursday and eight hour car ride in a fifteen passenger van fun! Please be praying for our road trip and the time that we spend in Kansas City. It is sad to say but I actually miss the rain... but not a hole lot. This is the very first time that I am tan in the middle of winter. Would you guys please been praying of the two countries that my team will be going to London and Romania. Pray for God to prepare those countries for an amazing revival. Also be praying for the fact that we are going to read the whole Bible across all of Romania... Please just put the right people around us who what to learn more about God and the amazing love that He has for every single one of His children. I pray that you all will be well and that your week will be amazing! I love and miss all of you so very much.

February 19, 2012

Wow what a crazy last couple of days. So Thursday night we had a Holy Spirit Party after watch the Finger of God. It was not my type of movie however it was a very cool movie about miracles. Jacob our director said that we should pray for people. Then in the middle Jakin our assistant director had the feeling that God wanted us to pray for depression... I walked away at that point and Krysta my roommate came after me we talked for a while and then she prayed for me. At the end Jacob say that he wanted a few to declare what had happened in their live that evening. Krysta looked at me with a Yes smile on her face and I had a face that said no we did this twice. Finally I raised my hand to talk.... I told everyone that I had been dealing with depression since my senior year but that I was from now on choosing to have JOY everyday because God wants that for me. Then Jacob say that I should stand up and pray about it... I was so nervous, everyone came around me and I prayed, in the middle of my pray I started laughing and could not spot it was so weird! I want to bed with a smile on my face that night. then next morning I wake up and I had the song "I've got the JOY, JOY, JOY, JOY down in my heart were? Down in my heart stuck in my head. To this day I still have that joy! God is so good! Saturday Feb. 18 I road the bus for the first time without getting sick... My friends and I went to see The Vow in the movie theater. It was so good! I really enjoyed my time with my two of my closest friends. These last two weeks God has been working so hard in my life but I know that He is so far from being done in my life. I miss everyone and hope that everything is going great. Thank you for all of your support and prays. I miss all of you.
