Hi, today was yet another wild day. So many things to do so little time to do it in. So the high lights of my day were this, I learned how to confront situations with others with the help of my roommates and close friend from Australia. I learned how to knit with my small group leader (it was awesome!) Thank you Yi Rang. I also finished my high light project about rape in South Africa. Please be praying for me tomorrow, I give my presentation around two-ish thank you. However I think that my favorite part of my day was during session with Donna MacGowan, she told us to make a poem using the word LORD as the start to each line... It went something like this:
Lovely, friend, Almighty to save
One in three, worthy of praise
Redeemer, savior, and counselor
Destined to be set a part, everlasting truth.
So cool.... I love the way she interacts with us. It makes me get more of her teaching and it also helps me to understand it better. I feel like I have grown so much in the past four weeks.. It is amazing how God can work in such a sort time... It kind of makes me fear what it means when it comes to me giving Him the rest of my life. I hope it means more growing into the person that He wants me to be. I miss all of you from back home so much. I hope that you are all well and enjoying life. I know that I am. Well I need to go. I am praying for all of you!

Hi everyone, this weekend has zoomed by so quickly. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and got a sketch book and stuff for learing to knit. A read like a mad women to get my second book done. I just finished it this afternoon. Today for church I went to The Vinyard... oh my goodness I absolutly loved it. I have now found my church while I am here in Arvada. I so trully miss my home chruch. I also miss working with the youth group. I hope that all is going well. However today I went to eat out with some of my friends at Texas Road House, then we went to the ARC a thrift store and I got my first Colorado sweatshirt. Before all of that though I went to an army retale store and I got a hiking backpack.... It is going to come in handy on outreach and when we go to Egale Rock the mountain campuse of YWAM Denver. Which we get to go up for two weeks starting next Monday. I miss everyone and love you all so very much I hope that you all have a great rest of your day talk to you on Tuseday.

Wow, another week has pasted. It snowed a little today, I wish that it would snow way more. :) So the big news about today was that during small group we got to chill and have so needed girl time. Yi Rang did all of our nails and I got mine painted bright green... Crazy I know but it looks great. We also got to pick bracelets that Yi Rang made. I choice a bracelet that has a intertwined ring attached to the braiding of the bracelet. I love it because it represents this week for me, I feel like the ring with its two intertwining pieces is God and me being drawn into an intimate relationship that no one can break. God is so good. I long for that type of relationship for so long. I am excited that I am finally feeling like I am getting that personal intimate relationship with my Father that I have been longing for. I so badly want to crawl into His (God) big lap and fall fast asleep because of the safety and comfort that I feel. I really hope that all of you back home or where ever you are reading this blog from that your day was wonderful. I miss each and everyone of you so very much. To tell you the truth I would still chose to be here and growing in my faith and relationship with God than be home with all of you but I do love you all. Thanks for all of your prays and support. Have a great weekend. I will blog next on Sunday.

Hi everyone, I hope that all is going well. It has been a very busy couple of days. Yesterday was Kingdom night, that is were we going downtown Denver and pray for people. Last night Malachi, he had lost both of his legs and was bagging at the street corner in the freezing wind. I get him three dollar to go get so Taco Bell. When we asked him if we could pray for him he said yes; He wanted to be prayed for because he just found out that he had lung cancer and it was going into his heart. Then he asked told us that he wanted to pray for us. I was amazed at the courage for his man. In the cold wind huddled four people three 18 to 20 year old and a man who was fighting for this life and yet he wanted to pray for us after we were done praying for him. What an amazing experience.... It still melts my heart thinking about his man and his kind words of love that he spoke over us. Then we met a woman named Erin she wanted us to pray that she would get a place of her own (an apartment) that was close to all of her three jobs. Wow that women has guts to do that... working ten hour days and then going to an apartment that she is sharing with a married couple. Crazy, the sweetest thing that she asked was if we could and would pray for her true love to find her. Looking back I wished that we would have told her that Jesus is her true Prince charming... but I believe that she got the point. We prayed that the desires of her heart would be honored and known by God who loves her. A lot in one night; God is so good!
Today, wow was a crazy day also. The Father Heart of God is a hard subject. I did cry, a ton of us cried. Over past hurts and not understanding that God can truly love us for who we are and as we are in our brokenness. I choice to draw out what I felt God was telling me. It was crazy, but I think I am making little break thoughts each and everyday. Baby steps.... towards that Father's healing love. I can not wait for him to wrap His arms around me and pull me into His huge lap! God is so so good! I love you Father!

Hi, everyone. Yesterday I got to play with babies. In the daycare center I put a little boy to sleep in my lap while watching the Prince of Egypt. Then for our community service I work at Shannon's Hope. Which is a live in community for young mothers who are single or just came for an abusive relationship. The mothers who live at the home have to have children under the age of two or are pregnant. It was amazing to work with little kids again. I miss my job. The sticky fingers, runny nosies and dirty diapers. The speaker this week is from Lakewood Washington. I feel like he brought me a little bit of home with him. The lessons are great and informational yet a little hard to follow without an outline. On Sunday night I watch a really good movie with so of the other DTS students and staff. The movie Courageous, wow was it an amazing movie. Full of what God want the men of this world to be like as fathers. To be honest I have been having a hard time getting anything out the the Father Heart of God lessons so far. I know that it will come.... maybe tomorrow or Thursday. Thank you all who have read my blog so far and for your prays. It seems that the flu buy has stop dead in its track's. Will you please pray for me to be open for tomorrows teaching and also for tomorrows intersection/pray time. God works in wonderful way. But there is still so much more that needs to be done in me. I hope to know God on a personal level, feel and knowing the intimacy that God has for me. Love you guys and miss Washington. Have a great day tomorrow, that is full of love and kindness!

first blog! January 22, 2012
Hi, everyone look at what I was able to do with a little bit of help for my firend Hidi. Now I am offically a blogger! Crazy. It has been two weeks almost three weeks tomorrow here at the YWAM Arvada bases. I have missed home so much and I have grown a lot so far. This past week on Wednesday was a very hard day for me... The lession was on facing the monster that live in the dark. The monsters that have been with me for over twenty year. I faced them and layed them at the feet of Christ Jesus. I also had an amazing incounter with God this past Firday, in my small group time we were talking about what type of animal God thinks of when He thinks about each of us. I have been having a hard time hearing God's voice and during that time we prayed that He would show me what animal I was in his eyes. After a while He gave me the picter of a lion cube and at first I had no idea why God chocies a lion cube. Then I thought about it and came to relizes that they are beauitful, gracesful, persistent, and couragous animals. I do not see myslef that way but that is okay because god see me that way. This next week is going to be on the Father Heart of God... I have a funny feeling that it is going to be a tear jurker of a week. Please be praying of all of the staff and studnets here at the YWAM bases, the flu is going around, pray that is stops in it's track. I have not gotten it yet and I really do not want it. Thank you all for your love and support, I miss you tons and I hope that the next few days are wonderful and porductive.
